Many widows in rural Nigeria are not lacking in strength, they are lacking in opportunity. At Garden of Hope, we understand that real empowerment comes from giving people the tools to support themselves. Our Vocational & Technical Training (V&T) program is designed to do just that.

Why Should You Support This Cause?
When a woman loses her husband, she doesn’t just lose a partner, she loses her stability, her livelihood, and often her sense of dignity. In rural areas, many widows are left without the education or skills to survive, forced to face life’s hardest struggles alone.
Through Garden of Hope, widows receive more than short-term relief. They are given training, tools, and opportunities to rebuild their lives with pride. With skills in sewing, farming, small business, and other trades, these women can provide for their families, send their children to school, and create a future filled with hope and possibility.
We have already reached 350 widows through our early support programs. With your help, we can continue bringing hope and smiles to many more. This is more than charity, it’s a partnership in rebuilding lives.
